MUD THERAPY

The spa “Thermarius” offers mud bath therapy treatments which will significantly improve your health. The spa ritual includes a medical examination, with a complete check-up of your health condition in order to identify the areas which could mostly benefit from the bio-thermal clay treatment. With its unique anti-inflammatory properties, which are entirely natural, this treatment has a soothing and restorative preventive action against arthritic and rheumatic diseases. Our mud is certified Super level I° by the Italian Ministry of Health.

MUD TREATMENT

It starts with a 20 mins mise en forme with mud at a temperature between 39-42°, which produces a beneficial vasodilation on the components of the locomotor system and favors a detoxifying action.

OZONE BATH

This first step is followed by a a quick shower in order to remove the mud and to immerse yourself in a bath of ozonated thermal water for about 10 minutes. After this mud application, you only need to relax and to allow the beneficial effects of the mud to get in depth so that your body will feel globally regenerated after the session.

TOTAL BODY THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

To end this cycle, you will receive a therapeutic massage of 20 or 40 minutes which will tone up your muscles and stimulate your circulation. Being applied to the previously warmed and relaxed tissues, this treatment adds a final touch to an ancient ritual which was conceived in order to donate health and to immerse the body in the deepest relaxation, providing an immediate decontracting and invigorating effect.

Pathologies and preventive actions:
The prescription, formulated in the specific ULSS form, must report the subject’s pathology, type of treatment and number of treatments. For rheumatic, arthrosic and osteoporotic pathologies the agreed cycle of care is 12 MUD TREATMENTS and 12 BATHROOMS THERAPEUTICS or only 12 THERAPEUTIC BATHS. For disorders of bronchitis, sinusitis and nasopharyngitis the cycle consists of 12 INHALATIONS and 12 AEROSOL
The prescription prescription of thermal treatments is valid the calendar year with the obligation of only one cycle of treatments in the legal year (1 January – 31 December).
